spiritual care

Artist and theorist Ton Kruse, Dean of the Faculty of In-humanities and a qualified Spiritual Care Counselor, offers a relational, inclusive and personalized approach to practictitioner formation and stabalisation. Encouraging growth of the knowledge, insights and mental skills that are needed as an artist, or as other professional working in the field of comtemporary art.

The shared experience of the practice of contemporary art demands a specialized and advanced counseling in the key areas of the profession. In the counseling sessions a genuine community as practitioners is sought, which fosters the development that you as a professional seek or are in need of. True fellowship is pursued and a sincere search for the integration and deepening of the practice in your professional and personal life.

Spiritual Counselor for Art-Practitioners is a performative, conceptual artwork that provides a real care function according to official, professional rules and requirements for Spiritual Care.

This examines the scope of functioning of the work of art as a conceptual scheme.
The Spiritual Counselor is marked by putting on a stole. This stole is designed by Theo Rooden info. When laying on the stole, the Counselor pronounces: I put on this stole as a sign of my attention and service, and of the confidentiality of all that we will discuss.
