the American works
During my work as a teacher-counselor at a summer academy for young people in the United States, I continued the still life theme with everyday objects from the series The Something and the Nothing. These American works on paper breathe a looser painterly trait, and the handwriting (personal trait in the use of the material) would get more space. The objects appear apart from a personal past, and build up a new history of everyday life in the workplace. Their meaning can still grow, but is yet superficial. The figurative elements are independent of design principles of inherited textiles. The style is direct and has room for mark making (more or less random 'scratches' in a work).
